Draw For The FA Trophy Third Round Has Been Made

The draw for the third round of the FA Trophy has been made as the National League club join the competition.

Following Saturday’s ties, clubs have discovered their fate ahead of the Saturday 9 December matches.

Holders FC Halifax Town meet Altrincham while National League leaders Chesterfield are on the treble charge - they're at home to Southport.

There's a classic tie in store as underdogs City of Liverpool host Hartlepool while York City go to Nantwich Town. Curzon Ashton vs Macclesfield is also a game to keep an eye on.

Barnet welcome Maidstone United while Southend have a tough task when they welcome in-form National League South side Hampton.

As always, there's plenty of same divisions match-ups.

Rochdale meet Gateshead while there's a Hampshire derby as Eastleigh play host to Aldershot Town.
