Dowson Makes Collier His First Signing As Manager Of Woking

By Steve Whitney

Alan Dowson, who recently took over as the new manager of Woking, relegated from the Vanarama National League, has announced his first signing.

Nathan Collier has agreed to sign for the Cards.

Collier, 31, is an experienced and versatile player who can play in both defence and midfield.

He started last season with Dowson at Hampton & Richmond Borough before joining Dartford in December.

He had originally been at Sevenoaks Town before enjoying his first spell with Hampton between 2009 and 2012.

He left for Dartford for three seasons before returning to the Beavers during the 2016/17 season following a spell with Eastbourne Borough.

Dowson said: “I’ve known Nathan for twelve years now so know what he’s like both as a player and as a person. He can play anywhere across the defence and midfield, has goals in him, and I’m happy that he’s the first player I’ve brought to the club”.
