Dean: Gray Change Won't Impact Brackley For York Game

Brackley Town's captain Gareth Dean says the side know that York City will be a different opponent under their new boss.

Town who are third in the Vanarama National League North after an impressive start to the season, face the Minstermen who have changed their manager, writes Tom Feaheny.

Brackley's plans may have had to changed to the managerial alteration.

"York away will be extremely difficult as they have now replaced their manager with Martin Gray. We know on our day we can compete with the best in this division," Dean said to the club's website.

"It is important we go there, with whatever alterations we need to make now and come home with points to continue our impressive start to the season."

Town reached the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup last weekend, with Dean praising the depth of the squad.

"The squad is highly competitive for places it is important all players grasp the opportunities presented to them. Aaron Williams is another player who really buys into what the gaffer prides his teams on, work rate is a bare minimum expectation."
