Squads are starting to take shape ahead of next season - so who has had a good week in the transfer market?

Oldham Athletic have had a very productive couple of days and could be a good tip for a National League challenge this year.

Not only have they won the race for Chester’s scoring sensation Kurt Willoughby.

But David Unsworth has also been able to convince midfielder Josh Lundstram to join after the best season of his career so far at Altrincham last time out.

York City have also had an impressive few days. First they captured Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper David Stockdale.

Then they announced the signature of Blyth Spartans talent Cedric Main. Manager Michael Morton said: “He first caught our eye back in December when we played against Blyth in the FA Trophy.”

Havant & Waterlooville confirmed the signing of towering midfielder Ansu Janneh following his departure from Dagenham and Redbridge.

They have also won the race for experienced defender Joe McNerney.

There’s been plenty of Daggers’ departures so far but Ben Strevens has made his first signing - Boreham Wood’s Josh Rees.

Gateshead feel they have unearthed a diamond. Striker Aidan Rutledge, who bagged over 60 goals last season for Birtley Town has stepped up to the Heed.

Jordan Hunter and versatile Regan Booty also arrive at the International Stadium.

Experienced Michael Bostwick is the latest player to sign for Boston United while Adam Livingstone moves to Hereford.

Alan Devonshire has added two new faces to his squad, Wealdstone’s reliable Lewis Kinsella and Woking keeper Craig Ross sign.

Sam Woods has signed for Bromley after departing Barnet.

Scunthorpe have gone on another mini signing spree - Ross Barrows arrives from from Altrincham and so does former Bradford City midfielder Kian Scales to make it ten new faces already.

But Halifax have made Kane Thompson-Sommers their first signing of the summer and have also confirmed that Milli Alli, Angelo Cappello, Tom Clarke, Tylor Golden, Jamie Cooke, Rob Harker, Jack Hunter, Jordan Keane, Jamie Stott and Luke Summerfield are all under contract for next season.

Aldershot Town say teenage striker Josh Stokes is one for the future after his arrival from AFC Sudbury for an undisclosed fee.

Midfielder Elliott Whitehouse is back at Chester after impressing in his previous spell.

Hartlepool have a new keeper, former National League champion Joel Dixon will be between the posts next season. Kieran Burton also signs from Scarborough Athletic.
