Davies Makes Move To Walsall After 25 Years With Dragons

Andy Davies who ended the season as the caretaker boss at Wrewham is the new Walsall assistant manager.

Davies once again links up with Dean Keates in the role he held for a spell at the Vanarama National League club, writes Tom Feaheny.

The Wrexham supporter has held many different jobs at the club including Community coach, Schoolboy coach, Head of Schoolboy coaching, Youth team coach, Head of Youth, Assistant Manager and then finally, first team Manager.

He has in these roles helped a number of players progress to the Football League.

The club statement said.

"Andy has served his hometown team with distinction in a number of different roles and we all wish him well, as he takes the next step on his footballing career."
