Darts Hitman Pugh Suffers Horror Double Leg Break

Dartford have suffered a huge blow with the season only two weeks away.

Striker Andy Pugh is sure to miss most of the campaign after a horrible injury on Saturday afternoon.

Pugh suffered a double leg break in the club’s pre-season game with Colchester.

The result didn’t matter all things considered, but the League Two U’s won 1-0 at Princes Park.

Dartford confirmed the horrible news on twitter tonight.

“The club can confirm that Andy Pugh has suffered a double break to his left leg,” they said in their social media statement.

“A further update will be provided over the next few days. We are sending him all our best wishes for a speedy recovery.”

It’s not the news the club or player wanted with the new season on the horizon.

Dartford kick-off the new season on August 4 when they travel to Bath City.
