Curzon Bring In Stoke Midfielder On Loan For Remainder Of The Season

Curzon Ashton have signed young midfielder Jake Dunwoody from Premier League Stoke City on loan for the rest of the season.

Dunwoody signed a professional deal with the Potters in the summer.

The 19-year-old captained the under-18s to the FA Youth Cup semi-finals last year and recently earned his first cap for Northern Ireland at under-21 level – marking an impressive last twelve months for the midfielder.

He experienced a brief loan spell with Evo-Stik League South outfit Leek Town last term before returning to the bet365 Stadium.

Dunwoody committed his future to the Potters after a promising 2016/17 season and is hoping to maintain his development with regular appearances for the under-23 side and forays into the first-team environment.
