Collier Says Chippenham Can't Feel Sorry For Themseleves

Mark Collier says his side must go again as they face East Thurrock United.

After two wins, hope was high that the side could deliver another victory that would have moved them nine points clear of the drop zone, writes Tom Feaheny.

Instead they lost against a fellow relegation rival in Concord Rangers, this meant Town are just six points clear having played more than any of the teams around them.

“We still need some more wins, we can do that, it is simple we can’t feel sorry for ourselves and need to get going again," Collier told the club’s website.

“It is very very frustrating with how some were so good on Saturday and then just didn’t do it in the last game collectively we just weren’t good enough, that needs to change."

During the loss against Concord Rangers Collier felt his team got what they deserved on Tuesday night.

“We didn’t start well, they were on the front foot, I was glad we went in at 0-0, then it’s an individual error and then down to 10 men and the games gone.

“Too many of the players were under par, we know in this league if that happens, you won’t be getting the points."
