Cofie Joins Bucks

Vanarama National League North club AFC Telford United have signed former Manchester United forward John Cofie.

The Ghana-born player is a free agent after leaving National League outfit Wrexham recently where he had been on non-contract terms since November.
Cofie, who joined Manchester United at the age of 14, had loan spells at Royal Antwerp, Sheffield United and Notts County during his time at Old Trafford.

He was released by United in the summer of 2013 and subsequently spent time at Barnsley and Norwegian side Molde.

Cofie, 22, joined Crawley Town in March 2015 but only made one appearance - coming on as an 84th minute substitute against Gillingham before being released.
