By Sam Elliott

It wasn’t to be the day Chesterfield got the job done as Bromley produced a stunning comeback on an afternoon to remember across the National League.

Michael Cheek’s hat-trick and a Sam Woods winner in the 94th minute means the table toppers lead is cut to 20 points - and with minutes to go it seemed it would be extended to 26.

Barnet also won, they move that little bit closer after a 4-2 victory at AFC Fylde. Callum Stead made the points safe.
