Brennan Has No Plans To Leave Bees Despite Swindon Link

Barnet have moved to end speculation over the future of their manager Dean Brennan.

The Bees confirmed over the weekend that they were met with an approach to speak to the Irishman from League Two Swindon Town.

But Brennan, who guided the club to a second place finish before the Londoners fell short in the play-offs, remains “fully committed” to his club.

Barnet say he has already begun planning to go one better next season and will be staying at the Hive.

“Following recent media speculation, Barnet FC would like to update supporters regarding Dean Brennan and the managerial position at Swindon Town FC,” they announced.

“Earlier this week, Barnet FC made Dean Brennan aware that they had received an approach from Swindon Town requesting permission to speak with him.

“Dean would like to assure supporters that he remains fully committed to achieving Barnet FC’s goal of promotion to the EFL, and a significant amount of work has already taken place to enhance the squad for the new campaign.

“Dean and the club continue to look forward to the Season ahead.”
