Beech Becomes The Latest Casualty As Fylde Make A Change

AFC Fylde have become the second National League club to part company with their manager.

Chris Beech has left the club after their fourth defeat in a row on Saturday, losing 3-0 at York City.

The Coasters are level on points with bottom side Ebbsfleet United, the other club to sack their manager after ending Danny Searle’s spell at the helm last week.

Chris Neal and Nathan Delfouneso will take training on Monday, Fylde have announced.

They are likely to be in charge of Tuesday night’s rearranged National League game with Southend United.

“The club can confirm that they have parted company with Chris Beech and his assistant Nick Anderton,” a statement read.

“The club would like to place on record their thanks to both Chris and Nick and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

“Club Chairman David Haythornthwaite will be providing an update to the club website on the reasoning, and how the club intend to move forward tomorrow evening.

“In the meantime, Chris Neal and Nathan Delfouneso will be taking charge of all first-team matters ahead of Tuesday night’s game against Southend United.”
