Yates Thrilled As Moors Deliver Another Win

Solihull Moors gained a 3-0 win against Woking with manager Mark Yates delighted with both the result and performance.

The Moors are now four points off safety after making it four unbeaten, writes Tom Feaheny.

Kwame Thomas and two goals from Jermaine Hylton ensured they gained victory.

“I’m just delighted with three points. We weren’t at our best or our prettiest, but we scored three good goals and my ‘keeper has made two good saves and we’ve worked hard – that’s all I ask from them," Yates told the club's website.

“It was important that we made sure last Saturday didn’t affect us. We talked long and hard about it on Tuesday that it wasn’t of the standards that we’ve reached and I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

“I picked the same team, just a slight rejig if you like and they went out and won 3-0 at home – I can’t ask any more of that really.

“The players on the pitch are starting now to do their bit. It’s a good club, this. People are willing to put themselves out, people are willing to work doubly hard and it’s not their full-time job.

“The players are putting in the effort and we’re getting some results.”
