Winger Worsfold Returns To Maidenhead From Neighbouring Swans

Maidenhead United have announced the re-signing of winger Max Worsfold from Bostik League Premier neighbours Staines Town.

Twenty-five-year-old Worsfold made forty-two appearances for the Swans last season, netting 11 goals as they finished eighth after looking like making the play-offs.

Worsfold had two spells with Staines, re-joining at the start of 2016/17 after a season with Hayes & Yeading United, for whom he played forty-one times and scored 3 goals in 2015/16.

Originally with Aldershot Town, Worsfold had two spells at York Road, joining initially on `work experience` from the-then League Two Shots in February 2011 and then for the 2011/12 season on loan, making a total of thirty-four starts in black and white with a further fifteen substitute appearances over those two spells.
