Whitehawk Add Keeper & Defender To Their Squad

Whitehawk have signed a new goalkeeper in highly-rated Sam Donkin.

Although still only 20, Donkin is the head of academy goalkeeping at SkyBet League Two club Stevenage and possesses an FA Goalkeeper B License.

On the field, he has had spells with Corby Town, where he made twenty-seven appearances, St Neots Town, Biggleswade Town and their Spartan South Midlands League neighbours Biggleswade FC.

He signed for Evo-Stik League South side Stamford AFC in September 2016 and his form earned him the Daniels` supporters` player of the year award at the end of the 2016/17 season (pictured).

The Hawks have also taken young defender Caden Genovesi on `work experience` from SkyBet Championship side Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season.

Genovesi is a left-back who has been with the R`s for over eight years after being scouted whilst playing for Staines Albion.

He made sixteen appearances for the under-18s during the 2016/17 season.
