White Tigers Get A Little Gift From The Friendly Grecians

Truro City have called in a favour from Exeter ahead of the new season.

They have agreed a deal with the League One club to bring two players to Cornwall on six-month loan deals.

Defender Alex Hartridge and Max Smallcombe, a talented young midfielder, will stay until the end of 2018.

Manager Lee Hodges wants another push for promotion at Treyew Road in the coming months.

The White Tigers made the National League South play-offs last season and is confident of another go next term.

They play Billericay Town at home on the first day of the 2018-19 campaign, before trips to Weston-super-Mare and Eastbourne Borough.

Hodges has been boosted by the news influential defender Ed Palmer has agreed to play for the club next season.

The manager says he is happy with the way his squad is coming together but there may be more new players arriving before August 4.
