Saturday's Preview: National League North Last Day

By Tom Scott

We've got bucket loads of final day drama ahead with the title and final play-off places still to be tied up.

An army of Stockport County fans will make their way to Liberty Way for their final game.

Just under 3,500 Hatters fans will be hoping to see a win against Nuneaton Borough to confirm their status as champions.

Hoping to put a spanner in the works will be Chorley who travel to Bradford (Park Avenue) knowing they still have a big shout.

Defeat for Stockport County would mean the Magpies can take the title with just a point at the Horsfall.

But a win would be required for Jamie Vermiglio's side if the Hatters take a point in Warwickshire.

It's simple for Blyth Spartans - win against Southport and confirm a top-seven finish.

Bradford (Park Avenue) will also confirm their play-off place with a win against Chorley if AFC Telford United fail to beat York City.

AFC Telford can confirm a play-off place if they take the spoils at York City and Blyth Spartans fail to win.

But a draw for the Bucks would also be enough if Bradford (Park Avenue) lose.

Remarkably, AFC Telford United could lose and still make the cut - if they lose by a margin of at least two less goals than Bradford (Park Avenue).

Elsewhere, the race for third place will be over if Brackley beat FC United of Manchester.

Spennymoor Town will have to overcome Curzon Ashton and hope the Saints lose to leapfrog them.

Alfreton will be looking for their first win in eight games against a Chester side who will be hurting.

Like Kidderminster, the Blues missed out on a top-seven finish - the Harriers host Guiseley.

Altrincham haven't lost on the road since January and will be looking for a strong finish at Ashton United.

In-form Leamington head to Darlington and Craig Elliott takes his Boston United side to Hereford.
