Weaver Knows Trophy Win Carriers Momentum On

A 3-2 win away from home on Friday night got Town through to the next round, where they will take on Wrexham in the first round of the FA Trophy, writes Tom Feaheny.

"This is the kind of win that carriers the momentum on, it is not an easy place to come to, so to win the way we did is something that we can use to build on," Weaver told the club's website.

"There are teams that have won the competition in our league, a win against a team like Darlington away gives you the belief you can get any result.

"There are things to improve upon but we got Louis Swain back from injury, gave players debuts on loan, so it was a good game for us."
