'We Can't Keep Chasing The Game' Stresses Orient Boss

Steve Davis instructed his team to stop going behind in matches if they want to climb the table.

The Leyton Orient manager says allowing sides to shut up shop after going in front is playing into their hands.

The latest example came at home to AFC Fylde this weekend in the Vanarama National League.

Danny Rowe's double put the Coasters in control and Davis says it's they who need to go in front in games and not the opposition.

Orient are on a poor run and have now picked up just one point from a possible 15 available.

He said: "It was like watching the same game we have seen four or five times already this season.

"We have gone behind and teams have been organised and put bodies behind the ball.

"We give ourselves a mountain to climb and we have got to change the pattern of matches."

Orient face Tranmere Rovers on Wednesday night at Prenton Park, a match you can watch on BT Sport.
