Watson Adds A National League Title Winner

York City have secured the services of a National League title winner.

Scott Burgess, who played for Macclesfield last season, moves to the club on loan until the end of the season.

The Bury midfielder, 21, played 22 time at Moss Rose last term.

New manager Steve Watson has made improvement to his squad a priority after taking over.

He lost his first game in charge 3-1 to Stockport County last weekend.

Watson is looking to find his first win this Saturday when the National League North Minstermen host Chorley.
