U`s Bring In Highly-Rated Argyle Youngster On Loan

Sutton United, having seen the experienced Kevin Amankwaah leave for Bath City, have replaced him in the squad with someone 17 years his junior!

Paul Doswell has brought in highly-rated 18-year-old Jordan Bentley on a three-month loan agreement from SkyBet League One side Plymouth Argyle.

Bentley graduated through the Home Park academy, having joined aged 13 and progressed through the ranks as a promising central defender before winning a two-year apprenticeship in 2015.

He made his first-team debut as a substitute on the final Saturday of the 2015/16 season - a week after his 17th birthday - and after making a first starting apearance in last year's Checkatrade Trophy at Swansea City, was rewarded with his first professional contract in June.
