Truro Confirm Their Treyew Road Return This Weekend

Truro City have announced the club are returning home this weekend.

The club have been given permission to play their FA Trophy tie with Weston-super-Mare back at Treyew Road.

They will play the rest of the season back in Cornwall after satisfying the Football Association.

The White Tigers cut short their stay at Torquay United after the sale of their stadium was delayed.

“We can confirm that the club has received the necessary ground grading from The FA National Ground Grading for us to be able to play Saturday’s Buildbase FA Trophy first round tie against Weston super Mare at Treyew Road,” a statement read.

“This is fantastic news and on behalf of chairman, Peter Masters, we would like to thank all of the volunteers and supporters who have worked tirelessly to get the ground ready for action.

“We urge as many of you to come along to Treyew Road on Saturday to help create a very special atmosphere.”
