Torquay Agree to Chaney Extending His Hawks Stay

Torquay United midfielder Sam Chaney will stay with National League South side Whitehawk for another month.

A highly-rated 21-year-old youth team product, Chaney earned himself a professional contract during the summer of 2014 following some impressive displays as he came up through the ranks.

Loan spells at the likes of Evo-Stik League South West side Bideford and Bostik League North outfit Waltham Abbey gave him much-needed competitive experience and he has gone on to make over fifty first-team appearances for Torquay.

Chaney moved out on a loan in mid-November and has made five appearances for the Hawks.
