Ticket Price Slash Can Boost Pools Chances

Hartlepool United have slashed ticket prices for their game against Aldershot Town this weekend.

Pools want to create an even better atmosphere at Victoria Park - and by halving the entrance fee they could well achieve their highest gate of the season.

In-form Hartlepool have really settled after a slow start to life in the Vanarama National League.

Fans are buying into what Craig Harrison is trying to do and United currently average 3,537 through their turnstiles - the forth highest in the league.

Harrison wants the volume levels cranked up as they look to build a promotion attempt.

The 50 per cent price cut means supporters can see the Aldershot fixture for only £10.

Concessions will watch the game for only £5 with under 16s getting in for £1.

But that’s not all - any fan who takes advantage of the offer will see the FC Halifax game later this month for the same price.

Hartlepool drew 0-0 with Boreham Wood last weekend and victory over the Shots could take them into the play-off places.
