The Form Guide: Who's Hot & Who's Not In The North?

By Tom Scott

A good run of results this time of year can make or break a season in the National League North.

We've compiled a list of our sides' last six results to see who will be in red-hot form heading into the festive period.

Phil Parkinson and Altrincham have been winning a lot of plaudits of late with their surge up the table. Alty sit third in the league after dropping just two league points in their last six games.

Alun Armstrong has got Blyth Spartans firing again - just one defeat recently has catapulted them into a possible play-off push in the New Year.

At the other end of the table, Nuneaton Borough and Curzon Ashton have just one win between them - a run that has seen both sides replace their managers.

Southport's recent superb run saw Liam Watson win the Manager of the Month award for November.

The Port have maintained some decent league form as well as fighting on the FA Cup and FA Trophy front.
