Sutton Agree Striker Sale

Sutton United have agreed the sale of striker Maxime Biamou to League Two side Coventry City for an undisclosed fee.

Twenty-six-year-old Biamou joined the U`s at the start of last season, having played in his native France for Yzeure AS and Villemomble, and scored 14 goals in fifty-one appearances, including the second goal in the replay win at AFC Wimbledon, one of three goals he scored during their marvellous Emirates FA Cup run.

He has agreed a two-year deal at the Sky Blues with the transfer subject to the completion of a medical.

Biamou could well make a quick return to Sutton as Coventry provide the opposition for the first friendly at the Knights Community Stadium on Saturday, July 8th.
