Stricken Pugh Vows To Get Back To His Goalscoring Best

Andy Pugh has sent a message to Dartford fans to thank them for their support and vowed to return strong than ever.

The former Cambridge United striker is almost certain to miss the entire National League South season after breaking his leg in pre-season.

Pugh, with the club since 2014, had to be stretchered off 13 minutes into the friendly against Colchester United.

Now the 29-year-old has praised the fans who have helped contribute towards his comeback.

He said: “I would like to thank everyone involved with Dartford football club for the incredible support I have received at a difficult time.

“From the messages, the hospital visits and ever so kind contributions, it has really touched me.

“I am so fortunate to have the support that I do and I will ensure I will do everything I can to make sure I am back out there on that pitch scoring goals for the Darts as soon as possible.”
