Sterling-James Makes Solihull Return on Loan

By Steve Whitney

Solihull Moors have announced that Omari Sterling-James has re-joined the club on loan from SkyBet League Two side Mansfield Town until the end of this season.

This pacey midfielder honed his skills at Birmingham City's academy and later with Cheltenham Town before his initial spell with Solihull last season.

A specialist in dead ball situations, he is a welcome addition to the current squad.

Sterling-James is eligible for selection at FC Halifax Town tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Moors have allowed Romario Martin to join Evo-Stik League South side Romulus on loan until the end of the season.

This will give the young St Kitts & Nevis international more opportunity for first-team football in the short term.

Leaving Moors on a permanent basis are Ben Frempah and Simeon Maye.

Centre-back Frempah joined towards the end of last year having played for Ross County, but first-team opportunities have so far been limited.

Simeon Maye has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent but carved a reputation last season as a tough midfielder who liked nothing better than to get into the opposition box.

He suffered a bad ankle injury in training after the cancelled Chester home game at the very start of this season and opportunities since his return to fitness have been few.
