By Tom Scott

The fixtures have fallen kindly in the National League North to give us a massive weekend of action.

No fewer than four matches are clashes between huge promotion rivals while we have two six-pointers at the other end of the league.

AFC Telford will be well aware of the size of the task ahead of them as they travel to Greater Manchester.

You'd have to go back to early-September for the last time their opponents this week, Stockport County lost a game at home.

Altrincham and Bradford (Park Avenue) incredibly meet for the fourth time this season.

Alty will fancy their chances having won all three previous encounters against the Avenue.

Curzon Ashton will do their play-off hopes no harm with a win at Brackley.

It's the first of four huge games for Chester against Boston at the Swansway. The Blues were boosted by the return of Akwasi Asante last week.

Ashton and FC United of Manchester will be looking to make good of their home advantage to rein in Hereford and Guiseley respectively.

It's been another turbulent week off-the-field for Nuneaton Borough. Spennymoor are in Warwickshire looking to pile on the misery for Jimmy Ginnelly's men.

Blyth Spartans' promotion charge has stalled in the last few games and they travel to Leamington who have won just once at home since November.

Southport will be looking for another win at Darlington after toppling leaders Chorley last time out.

It was a dream start for new Kidderminster boss Mark Yates last week and he now faces York City who are starting to get into gear with Steve Watson - who says last week's win over Ashton could be a 'catalyst' for their season.

Alfreton Town fans haven't had much to cheer at The Impact Arena with just one home win since October.

Chorley won't be looking to ease their home discomforts when they arrive in Derbyshire.
