Smith Salutes Big Bromley Comeback

By Tom Feaheny

Neil Smith says the way his side got back into the game against Boreham Wood, is something that delighted him.

The 3-2 win means the side still have a chance of gaining a play-off place, this was after they came back from 2-0 to win, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I was disappointed with how we started, the first 20 minutes wasn't us, we couldn't give them anything and we did and they took it," Smith told the club's website.

"We went 2-0 down and I thought we just had to do something, make the change put another striker on and see what happens.

"All the players that came on did something, made an impact and Omar (Bugiel) has got the winner and deserved it for his work rate."

With two games to go now, Smith says that by going for it, it means they still have plenty to play for.

"Every game is tough, but Luke has got this side set up, they are tough, well organised, with a good forward line as well.

"We went for it, even at 2-2, we know how big this win is, it sets us up for the final week."
