Sharpe Finally Becomes A Lamb

Tamworth have added former Derby County and Notts County player Rhys Sharpe to their squad.

Sharpe, who is equally as comfortable playing at left-back or in a left-sided midfield role, is eligible to make his debut tomorrow against York City.

The 23-year-old is a product of Derby academy and has also represented Northern Ireland at under-21 level.

Following his release from Notts County midway through last season, Sharpe spent time at both Swindon Town and Matlock Town.

He was on trial at The Lamb in the summer of 2017, but unfortunately suffered an injury meaning that the spell was cut short, and he returned to Evo-Stik League Premier outfit Matlock for the first half of this season.
