Saunders: Maidstone Need To Build On Point

Maidstone United boss Jay Saunders says their draw against Bromley needs to be used going forward.

A 2-2 draw against the play-off chasers saw United pick up their first point in five league matches, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We were chasing the game, we got the point and we needed it, the draw away from home was something we deserved," Saunders told the club's website.

"At times we played some good stuff against a Bromley side who impressed me.

"To face a team who are flying and leave with the point is good but the two goals we conceded were disappointing, we will be working hard on those situations now."

With a few new arrivals coming in during the past weeks, Saunders admitted there may be another one in soon as well.

"I would like to look at the squad and possibly bring one more in, there is a possibility that could happen."
