Saturday's Preview: National League South Last Day

By Tom Scott

One game to go and we still have five teams fighting for the final play-off place - not forgetting two sides battling the drop.

Billericay Town head to fellow promotion hopefuls Bath City knowing a win would wrap up the top-six drama.

Bath have unfinished business of their own and could claim a semi-final spot with a win.

St Albans have a tall order if they want to leapfrog Ricay - champions Torquay are in town.

Ian Allinson's men need to beat the Gulls and hope Billericay come unstuck against the Romans.

Dartford are also in with a chance but can only slide into the play-offs if St Albans and Billericay fail to win. The Darts would also need to down Oxford City.

Wealdstone require a win against Hemel Hempstead - if the Stones do their bit, they need the three sides above them all to drop points.

Still with a punchers chance are Slough Town who need a comfortable win against Truro if they four sides above them all lose.

Incidentally, defeat for Truro would see them drop from the division and Hungerford Town would survive.

Ian Herring's men can have control of their own destiny however, they just need a point against already relegated East Thurrock.

Chelmsford simply need to win to confirm their place in the play-off semi-final a week on Sunday - they travel to Chippenham.

Elsewhere, Welling will be in the semi-final whatever happens against Hampton & Richmond.

Woking will be watching the battle for the final places closely - the Cards are guaranteed second place ahead of their tie with Gloucester City.

Concord Rangers travel to Eastbourne for their final game and Weston-super-Mare host Dulwich Hamlet.
