Ricketts Gets His Number Two As He Brings In Barrow

Sam Ricketts says he is ‘absolutely delighted’ with his new right hand man for the upcoming season at Wrexham as the club announced Graham Barrow would be coming in.

Ricketts previously said he wanted to get the right people in at the Racecourse Ground both on and off the pitch and he told the club’s official website, Barrow is the perfect man for the job.

“I’m absolutely delighted that Graham has come on board to work with me here at Wrexham,” he said.

“He brings with him vast experience and knowledge which will help us as a club this season. He is exactly the kind of person you need around the place.”

Barrow brings a wealth of experience with him to Wrexham having previously worked at Chester and Rochdale. He also spent last season at AFC Fylde as Head of Football Development.

He also spent ten years at Wigan where he worked alongside then manager Roberto Martinez. He also took on the team himself as caretaker manager on several occasions.

Barrow has previously held the role of assistant manager at Notts County, Bury and Chesterfield.
