Relief For Beavers As Kiernan Signs New Deal

Brendan Kiernan has committed to another year with Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Many Boro fans will have thought that Hampton’s dynamic marksman was already on the books, but Kiernan has been weighing up his options and spent some time earlier in pre-season with a Football League club before joining training later than his Beavers` colleagues.

However, after Saturday’s game against Salford City, he signed a one-year contract, to the delight of manager Alan Dowson, who is looking for 20 goals-plus from Kiernan in the National League South.

Kiernan originally joined Hampton on loan from Bromley two years ago and has since been a permanent and popular fixture in the team.
