Reeves Delight At `Pivotal` Win

Poole Town chairman Chris Reeves issued a statement after the recent win at Oxford City.

“I have been in football long enough not to get carried away by a solitary result be it good or bad. However, sometimes you just know that a game is so pivotal, so absolutely crucial where the ripples of either victory or defeat will keep on spreading.

“The Oxford City game was one such fixture. Ultimately, I was so proud of the players for the way the game was managed.

“Tom Killick's tactical nous came to the fore again with his half-time changes and quite possibly the most valuable three points of the season were secured-

“It means we will go into the away fixture with Havant & Waterlooville a week today in good shape. Hopefully with an injured player or two fit to return and looking forward to the rest of the season with renewed confidence.

“Finally, a word of thanks to Abdulai Bell-Baggie for his contribution to the cause in our colours. He was a pleasure to have involved with the club and we wish him every success as he leaves us in the search for more regular first-team opportunities”.
