Salford City’s latest summer signing say he is looking forward to what is going to be “an unbelievable season” – and he started as he meant to go on!
Jack Redshaw has returned to the Vanarama National League North club some six years after he left.
Then in the Northern League Division One, times have certainly changed for the Ammies.
He is a Salford player after leaving Blackpool. He spent some time last season on loan at Rochdale and settled back in quickly.
He tweeted that he thinks this season will hold plenty of excitement before scoring twice this afternoon.
But his two could couldn’t prevent City going down 4-3 to his former club Blackpool.
Salford’s season starts in two weeks’ time when one of the favourites for promotion are at home to Darlington.
