Quinton Ends His Quiet Summer With First Deal For Braintree

There is movement at Braintree Town as manager Bradley Quinton has started his recruitment ahead of the new season, writes Aidan Jones.

It has been a very quiet summer so far for the National League South Promotion Final winners.

But the Essex club have today signed Olu Durojaiye from Welling United where he managed to make just four appearances since his transfer to Park View Road in 2017.

Durojaive joins Nathan McDonald, Billy Crook, Marcel Barrington, Luke Allen and Dan Thompson who have also signed new deals at the club.

The versatile player is Quinton’s first signing of the summer prior to the club’s return season in the Vanarama National League.

The 25-year old started off in the youth setup at Tottenham Hotspur and Norwich City, before signing his first professional contract for Falkirk in Scotland.

The former Spurs youth product does have international experience after being called up to Nigeria’s Under-20 Development Squad.
