Owers: Torquay Need To Find A Way To Win

Torquay United boss Gary Owers was left frustrated after a late loss at Aldershot Town meant they exited the FA Cup.

The Gulls now have their attention fully focused on the Vanarama National League after being knockedout of the cup, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We need to find a way to get the results we need, the performances aren't too bad but going out of the Cup at the attempt is disappointing," Owers said to the club's website.

"I thought the first half was encouraging, we had some good chances, if we are more clinical we go ahead and have something to hold onto."

"We seem to lack a bit of confidence when we get into the final third, we couldn't beat the first man when we got into those areas."

"We are getting better, working on things but sometimes you need to just get that win, now we have to do it in the league."
