Orient Stars Koroma And Brophy Take Over Club’s Twitter!

Two of Leyton Orient’s players kept their fans entertained today - by taking over the club’s twitter account.

O’s favourites James Brophy and Josh Koroma put themselves in charge of match updates from the leaders’ behind-closed-doors friendly with AFC Wimbledon.

Taking it in turns to offer insight and criticism about their team-mates’ performance, they did let themselves down by not signing off with the trademark footballs’ tweet ‘we go again’.

Koroma and Brophy were given the afternoon off and did more than enough to raise spirits.

Poor Matt Harrold appeared to be their number one target as they kept fans fully up to speed.

The minute-by-minute match updates included: “10- Matt Harrold flicks the ball on to absolutely nobody. Wimbledon goal kick.”

“23- Alabi whips in a great cross but Harrold unfortunately can't get the caravan off his back in time,” was tweeted a little later.

They clearly got cold finger syndrome and gave up the ghost at half-time and returned the duties to the club’s media team.

“45 - Half Time and that's your lot from us two. Koroma and Brophy out. 1-0 #LOFC” they wrote.

The unused players’ half-time withdrawal proved to the game’s turning point.

The Dons came from behind to beat Orient 2-1. Jordan Maguire-Drew, pictured, found the net before the break as the new signing got his first goal for his new club.
