North Ferriby Add Midfielder & Defender To Squad

North Ferriby United have signed midfielder Jordan Deacey and defender James Piercy.

The son of former Bradford Park Avenue manager John, Deacey junior (pictured) excelled for Avenue during his time at the Horsfall Stadium which enabled him to test himself at a higher level with AFC Telford United in 2014/15.

He moved on and signed an initial one-year deal with Boston United in August 2015 but moved to Farsley Celtic midway through the 2015/16 season and made forty starts for the club that season, weighing in with 7 goals, and played a pivotal part in the club`s league and cup success.

Defender Piercy joins from Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division neighbours Hall Road Rangers.

Voted as last season`s young player of the year during Hall Road`s First Division title winning side, 21-year-old Piercy was named as vice-captain in pre-season.
