Nevison Praises Curzon's Spirit

Curzon Ashton's assistant manager Ian Nevison said their 4-2 win after being 2-0 down at Spennymoor Town, showed what the team is all about.

At half-time few would have predicted that the Nash would score four unanswered goals and leave with all three points, writes Tom Feaheny.

"The lads reacted and listened to what was said, we addressed the issues, got closer to them and got the break when we needed it," Nevison said to the club's website.

"The confidence we have never seems to dip, we want to be on the front foot now, it's the kind of result that shows we can get up the table."

The game was changed thanks to a Niall Cummins hat-trick, Nevison was delighted with the attackers contribution.

"He needed that, he's missed some games so to get them three goals can only help him and the team for the next matches as well."
