Moors Bring In Former Cheltenham Defender

Solihull Moors have signed defender James Bowen from Evo-Stik League South Premier side Hereford FC.

The 21-year-old started his career with Cheltenham Town, coming through the ranks at Whaddon Road to make four first-team appearances.

Whilst on the Robins books, Bowen also had loan spells with Bishops Cleeve, Evesham united, Gloucester City and Hereford FC, who were then members of the Midland League.

He made sixteen appearances on loan with the Bulls during that loan period, helping them to promotion.

He was released by Cheltenham at the end of the 2015/16 season and joined Stafford Rangers, where he spent last season, before re-joining the Bulls on a more permanent basis at the end of May.
