Molyneaux Nose Blow But Hawks Are Ready For Sports

The Hawks drew 0-0 at Chippenham Town, a point well earned said the Westleigh Park boss after his team came under real pressure.

But the first day of the new campaign wasn't without its problems for Bradbury.

Ryan Woodford went sick overnight meaning the manager had to change his line up.

In came Molyneaux - but after being thrust into action the afternoon didn't end particularly well for the 34 year old.

"Moly was brilliant and picked up a broken nose for his troubles," said Bradbury.

"During pre-season he had a couple of patchy games where he made mistakes but showed his character and experience.

"He loves a scrap, wants to roll his sleeves up and fight with people.

"He wants to defend and it suited him perfectly against two strong willing opponents. Whether he makes mistakes or not he always gives 100% and puts his body on the line."

If Molyneaux makes it on Tuesday night, when Havant play host to Eastbourne Borough, is yet to be confirmed but it's a match the manager is looking forward to.

"It's a south coast game and it's a match we want to win," Bradbury said.

"They will fancy their chances this season but we're looking to build on a good performance at Chippenham."
