Miller Praises Profession Spennymoor Display

Spennymoor Town's assistant manager Tommy Miller was pleased with how they progressed in the FA Trophy after defeating Cleethorpes Town 2-1

A goal by Ryan Hall before half-time and a late Andrew Johnson strike got them to the next round, with their only blip seeing them concede in added time, writes Tom Feaheny.

"Before the game we knew how tricky the game would be, getting through to the next round was the main thing," Miller told the club's website.

"Ryan opens the scoring thanks to his first touch, it was the one bit of quality in the first-half, we had a couple of chances to get more of an advantage they got their goal but we deserved to go through.

"The FA Trophy is massive for us, we want a good run, we look forward to the run, we want a cup run this season."
