Mellon: Prenton Park Run Is Seventh Heaven For Rovers

A 3-2 victory against Maidenhead United left Micky Mellon delighted as Rovers kept up their impressive home form.

Rovers are now just five points off top spot after this latest win, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It was great to win at home yet again, we can't take this form for granted to make it seven in a row." Mellon said in the press conference.

"It was good to see the goals shared around, there is a togetherness with the group and the fans it's terrific.

"I have to pick out Steve McNulty, he competed in all areas and hurt his shin last week, he fought for everything.

"Good performances don't win you games, getting goals and defending well does and we today have got the goals and are delighted."
