Making His Marc! Seagulls Start To Soar Under McGregor

Marc McGregor believes his club’s supporters are starting to see the real Weston-super-Mare shining through at last.

The Seagulls are unbeaten in four league games now after rocking Vanarama National League South leaders Dartford on Saturday.

That 3-0 success came thanks to a double from Gethyn Hill which was added to by a goal from Archie Collins.

Weston may have gone out of the FA Cup to Bognor Regis meaning they have a free weekend ahead but the manager thinks the break has come at the wrong time.

“We’re really good against the sides at the top and our results and performances show that,” said McGregor, who replaced Scott Bartlett late into the summer.

“We are on a good little run in the league and hopefully we can keep it going. The side is showing the belief we need to push forward and we’re getting results.

“They are playing like the team I know they are so we just need to maintain the levels we’re showing - we could have even won by more against Dartford on Saturday but the players were excellent.”

After their break because of in-activity in the FA Cup, Weston go to Hemel Hempstead and then have a home game against Welling United.
