Maamria 'Lost For Words' As Nuneaton Win Again

Nuneaton Town boss Dino Maamria was taken aback on Tuesday night - by how good his side were!

Boro climbed up to mid-table in the National League North with their third straight 1-0 victory - Stockport County were their latest victims.

Maamria’s men have won four of their last five games and kept clean sheets in all of them - quite the turnaround for the Warwickshire club.

Their victory at Edgeley Park on Tuesday night makes Nuneaton the form team in the division and their boss was understandably impressed.

“I thought we were good on Saturday, but tonight I thought we were outstanding,” Maamria told the club’s website.

“The desire of those boys, they are making me really excited about football again. I’m actually lost for words.

“We dominated from start to finish. They have been very good at home all season and have a big following. I’m just disappointed we didn’t score two or three more.

“As a team, I thought we were brilliant. We played on the front foot from minute one.”
