Maamria Knows What Nuneaton Must Work On

The new Nuneaton Town boss Dino Maamria says he is pleased with what he has seen since taking over the role.

Town were defeated by FC United of Manchester at the weekend and currently sit 19th just outside the relegation place, writes Tom Feaheny.

"We were very good going forward, although we lacked being clinical, because we had three clear chances before they scored their first goal. Out of possession I think that's where the teams been struggling," Maamria told the club's website.

"The team here are technically very good, they like to have the ball, so we need to focus on work without the ball. I want to work on the defensive shape."

"My focus is looking at what I've got, I like the chairman and the people I'm working with. We will work, I will be relentless, I will develop these players and my focus is always on winning the next game.

"Where we end up is down to us."
