Leberl: It's An Amazing Start To Season For Dover

Dover Athletic assistant Jake Leberl says the Whites can be proud of their start to the season as they find themselves fifth after five games in the Vanarama National League.

Dover so far have ten points out of a possible fifteen, something that has pleased the players and staff as well, writes Tom Feaheny.

Leberl spoke to the club's website after they picked up another point this time drawing against Barrow and said it has been a good start.

"It is amazing, you look at the results and you just can't predict anything, anyone can beat anyone, we just have to focus on ourselves and ensure we gain the points on the board

He added: "In this league, there are games thick and fast, you travel up and down the country for the matches, we know how this league is and we just have take that little bit of a break from the matches with no mid-week game and use it to our advantage.

The Whites next face Macclesfield Town away from home on Friday night with Leberl knowing what to expect based on their previous encounters.

"It is always tough up there at Macclesfield they have a lot of good players, but we are confident going into the one we can get something like we are going into any match in this league."
